Sedecordle is a multi-grid word puzzle that expands the familiar five-letter guessing format across 16 separate boards. One guess is entered on every active board, but each grid evaluates the letters against a different hidden answer.
The original game was created by Brad Bednar, also known online as @morethanawesome, and launched in 2022. Its name combines “sedec,” referring to sixteen, with the familiar “-dle” ending used by many Wordle-inspired games.
Transparency note: The playable version embedded on this page is a modified CacheSleuth edition associated with a Geocache project. It is based on the original Sedecordle but is not the official Sedecordle website.

Sedecordle displays 16 different word grids. When you enter a valid five-letter word, the same guess appears across every unsolved board. Each grid then returns its own feedback based on its hidden answer.
The numbered indicators from 1 to 16 help you follow the individual boards. As answers are completed, you can concentrate on the remaining grids and use your available attempts more carefully.
Always evaluate the colors separately on every board. A letter may be green in one answer, yellow in another and gray elsewhere.
Daily mode provides a puzzle associated with the current day. It is useful when you want one defined challenge that can be compared with results from other players using the same version.
Free mode generates additional word sets and lets you play more than one round. The core rules remain the same: solve sixteen five-letter words within 21 guesses.
You need at least one submitted answer for each of the sixteen boards. With 21 total attempts, only a small number of guesses can be used purely to test letters. This makes the opening moves important, but continuing to use broad test words for too long can leave too few attempts for the actual answers.
A balanced approach uses the early guesses to gather information, then switches to solving specific boards as soon as their patterns become clear.
